Take That – The Circus Live Summer 2026 When Take That brought back their legendary stadium spectacle for The Circus Live Summer 2026, Stageco was proud to return as the trusted supplier and structural engineer behind the production. Spanning 17 shows across the British Isles and culminating at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium, the tour was a high-energy celebration combining acrobatic circus acts, complex hydraulics, and seamless stage automation. Building the foundation for a show of this scale required deep engineering expertise and close collaboration. Long-time Production Director Chris Vaughan turned to Stageco early in the planning process to assess existing equipment and re-engineer missing structural elements. Stageco’s dedicated R&D team—including Jan Claes, Vincent Theunissen, Jelte Smets, and Daan Gybels—worked alongside project managers Christof Duarte da Cruz and Dirk De Decker to adapt the iconic 2009 look to modern technical demands. While retaining the original visual impact, Stageco raised the PA wings and integrated a custom catenary system spanning from stage left to stage right to support the show's intricate overhead infrastructure. Executing a tour of this magnitude relied on precision logistics. Under the direction of Crew Chiefs Paul Vanbelle and Frank Lucas, up to 40 Stageco team members managed two complete touring systems. Transported across 21 trucks per system, each setup required a rigorous three-day load-in and a streamlined one-day load-out to maintain the tight stadium schedule. From supporting dynamic hydraulic stage moves to carrying heavy production elements like a 7.8-meter mechanical elephant, Stageco’s structural skeleton provided the strength and reliability needed for live performance at its limits.
